Story :
Several centuries ago, a terrible war exploded in our world. A war that tore civilization as we knew it apart, in every single corner of the planet - not because of its incredible destructiveness, but rather because of how it started, and why it happened. That war shocked mankind to its very core. The war rocked every single thing that societies all over the world considered "good" and "acceptable" - it made everybody who survived it re-evaluate themselves, their values, and their reasons to live and exist. It was, in the full sense of the world, a cataclysmic event that left mankind in ruins.

But the world didn't end. In fact, the war brought a new world upon us. The war was a wake-up call on mankind, and it made people realize the errors on their ways - errors that almost brought the world to an end. A new society was built. One where violence became frowned upon. One where science and technology was embraced, and spiritualism rejected. One where responsibility became the golden rule governing our lives. One where "we" came before "I".

The world was rebuilt by this society, and it never shined better.

And on this world, we'll follow two particular people. A particularly bright mind, Dr. Senko Knelstrom, a world renowned expert on cybernetics and passionate technophile; and ARC-309 (AKA "Arctus"), a military cyborg that Senko transformed from a war machine into a fully sentient cybernetic lifeform, complete with the ability to think by himself and make his own decisions in life.
