Man oh man ok first let me explain the reference itself.
- Species???? breed??? huh??? what. chev is chev
- The red triangle is optional; it's there to tie her to Prah.
- Her back is bent! The weird crook in her spine pushes her ribcage down and back, and her pelvis forward, making her more compact.
- Optional chips missing outta the ears. I just draw it because it's fun haha
- NECK FLUFF FOR DAYS, but has a very smooth/short furred chest area!!
- Loooong narrow face.
- THE BUTTFLUFF GROWS also a banded bushy tail
- The cutesy headshot shows off optional accessories;
-- The dice collar she's always had - always shows on six
-- Red keffiyeh (same one I like to wear in the winter!)
-- Gauges if you're bored
- Eyes turn red and blue when experiencing Nil
-- Nil is her alter ego of sorts, who is more volatile and violent
- Chev's personality could be described as quiet, loving, doting, and friendly. Basically all the positive parts of myself. She cannot feel anger, hence the development of Nil.
- CHEVSUBISHI FOREVER!!
Notable change? She has eyelid markings now. Which are probably optional, I've just been drawing them on her as of late. Same old pupper, though. She's still there alongside Prah, because she'll probably never not be a part of me. Like, she's looked like this since I started high school. I'm 21 now. It's a neat thing. Her collar is actually based on a necklace that I wore /every single day/ in high school (except for the few times I didn't, and people pointed it out). I still would but I kept breaking the chains I'd have it on... oops.
I know Chevdog isn't a "cool" design these days, but back in the day she was! And I really don't have the heart to truly change her after all this time. But thats ok hehe
As I worked on this, I was listening to a lot of happy-nostalgia music for me. Like, stuff I really loved when I was at my best. I hope to make those positive again. Who remembers my obsession with Friendly Fires? Yeah, that. I need to get that one poster remade...
I'm rambling but Chevdog is super special and important to me and holds a lot of myself that I really miss :( she's a good pup. anyways I'm sick as heckie and wanted to draw her to cheer myself up a bit while I had the energy <3
