"Just who the hell do you think I am?!" ~Kamina, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann

*sigh* Definitely one of my favorite animes out there. My friend had a birthday a few months ago and I drew this simple little sketch for him on a small piece of sketchbook paper. I decided I really liked it and wanted to do a little something more with it though; so I threw it into Illustrator, live-traced it twice, layered those images, added some color, and just a touch of texture.

I've done some college design work kinda in the same style before, but I tried out a few new tricks with this one. It was a lot of fun and I'll have to try to do some more digital artwork every now and then...
