Last year I had bought a year subscription to the New York State lottery for their normal Lotto, drawn on Wednesday and Saturday Night.
And then pretty much forgot about it.
Much to my surprise, today I received this check in the mail from the Lottery office with the total sum of my "winnings" (snicker) along with a re-subscription form.
Aside from me blanking out my name & address, this check is real. And it is actually for $1.
It's so ridiculous, that I had to share it, and ask you all: What should i spend all this new found wealth upon?

That's messed up for them to issue checks for the bottom prises. Here in Illinois, the 'scrachoffs' have a bottom prize equal to the ticket value (normally one dollar, but some are more expensive, mostly the 'seasonal' lotteries that come out around the Hollidays, and are intended to be given to the recipient unscratched) and those bottom prizes are redeemed in the form of a 'free ticket' instead of for cash.
