I'm probably not going to get to many messages in the next few days, but I'm still pretty determined to keep up one doodle a day as much as possible.
Preggo Axe enjoying the sun.
Axe has had very few successful clutches as a source (mother in human vernacular), trauma during their first clutch has given them a tendency to eat their own eggs unless they’re shooed away from the nest. Their surviving clutches however have proven to be healthy and fit. Axe is fairly popular as a sire (father) because if this, coupled with Greens’ tendency for uncoupled sources to band together. This clutch is probably the result of a young Green just entering sexual maturity, more interested in the mating than the resulting clutch. Older sires tend to avoid Axe if they want a successful clutch.
Axe’s happy ending will probably be successfully combating their trauma and successfully raising their own hatchlings, but that isn’t their only legacy. Axe is the sire to a halfbreed who goes on to cause trouble for a large Blue flight.
