What a surprise it was to see this tail art on the aircraft which certainely served as the replacement aeroplane of the Red Devils aerobatic team!
It's painted on the tailfin of the SIAI-Marchetti SF-260M n°1024 coded ST-24 which belongs to the 9e Escadrille (9de Smaldeel), Basic Training School, 1st Wing of the Belgian Air Force which has this wolf head as insignia, it's based on the airbase of Beauvechain.

Well, after some researches through Belgian press and official websites, I can affirm you that there were two wolves on the Beauvechain Air Base until November 2015, when the last one died. Though, last year, they released 4 foxes within the base to regulate the increasing rabbit population.
