Based on a new story idea about a zombie apocalypse - set in a reasonably close future, around 2067, during a kind of international cold war between almost everyone excluding Australia and Russia as well as various terrorist cells, much of the world has been wiped out by an engineered virus that causes the victim's brain to slowly disintegrate. Infected start off normal, but soon become animalistic, then just psychopathic.
Anyway it's about a group of soldiers from various sides of he cold war - eg, a US commando, an African millitia, etc trying to head north to Arkhangesk where there's supposedly a Russian millitary port sending people to a safe zone in the Arctic ocean.
tl;dr soldiers who can't understand each other heading to Russia for safety.
