Here's a story involving Gamma's Chosen some more and going into more detail about their beliefs. You do not have to do this however to get in, you just have to survive getting acid, toxic waste, and radiation poured all over you. Also two stories in one day!
“I’m more than willing to do it! I know I can do it!” Meltdown told Bilgekar,
“That’s not what I’m concerned about, I’m concerned about you and I being found out. Gamma’s Chosen is called that for a reason here. We only let in the ones that are chosen by Him thus being deemed worthy.” He said concerned,
“Are you saying I’m not worthy of being within Gamma’s presence here? Who’s the one that can hold back his power?” Bilgekar sighed,
“It’s not that, we might get into trouble- you know what? Fine, go ahead and do it. I’ll head off and go tell the others to get the trials set up. See you later tonight.” He told her,
“Very well! See you tonight!” Meltdown blew him a kiss and ran off to rejoin her friends in the landfill for the day.
“Better go tell Lixian…” Bilgekar got up and went off to tell his friend.
He crawled through a hole which led to a system of caverns and tunnels until coming upon a large hollow cavern converted into a small town for the cultists. Wooden shacks perched on the ledges held up by support beams, multiple barrels of radiation bunched together, and bridges and walkways aplenty were to be seen in this cavern illuminated by the various candles and sickly radiation spewing from the “spring” that the cultists set up in order to worship their deity Gamma.
“High Confessor Lixian!” Bilgekar ran up to him. The man wore less armored robes as he didn’t go outside of the caverns as often as Bilgekar did with chains attached to a scrap plate that was supposedly blessed by Gamma on the middle of his chest. Despite that, he still wore pieces of leg armor and arm armor. Though he had quite a pretty face his entire body was pale and a bit scrawny from spending so much time around the radiation. His hair was reduced to several strands that tangled with each other and hung off a side of his head as the rest was lost to radiation. He wore a yellow gas mask over his mouth that revealed his blue eyes which shot around the place almost all the time and markings on his face that were required like every other member.
He was currently in the middle of a sermon explaining Gamma’s greatness,
"He has given us this place as our holy place of worship! He has blessed us with the power withstand His righteous glow! He has granted us the secrets of our existence! Anybody who seeks out to stamp us out is only afraid of the power we wield against them! We shall remain resilient! For Gamma!" He finished his sermon,
“For Gamma!” The rest of the cult repeated before dissipating back into their daily routines. Lixian turned around and faced Bilgekar,
“Ah, Brother Bilgekar. Would you like to hear more of my studies on Gamma?” His voice was raspy and gravelly.
“It’s not that, I would like to tell you we need to get the trials ready for tonight. We have someone wanting to eagerly join the family.” Lixian dropped his joyful look,
“Who would this new person be exactly? You have to remember that we don’t just accept everyone into our sanctum like this.” Bilgekar cleared his throat,
“It’s a member of GD Biohazard-” He was cut off there as the zealots aimed their weapons at the lunatic,
“WHO!? ONE OF THOSE HEATHENS!? THE ONES THAT CONTAIN HIS POWER WITHIN THEM AND REJECT HIS TEACHINGS!?” He screamed loud enough for the others to hear.
“But she’s willing to learn, just give her a chance and I believe she will see His greatness.” He tried to calm the High Confessor down.
“This is treason to your family! You understand!? Treason!” He was held back by one of the zealots. They all wore the most protective armor out of the members of the cult all equipped with actual bullet proof armoring.
“High Confessor, if I may. I think this would be a good opportunity to expose someone outside in that blasted facility to our true intentions and beliefs.” She suggested,
“You can’t be serious Grand Zealot Fleama? Wait, you may have a point…” Lixian calmed down,
“Very well, I’ll allow this girl to try and prove herself to Gamma. But the real question, will the family allow her to try and take His trials?” He stepped forward to his followers,
“Dear brothers and sisters. Tonight, we have a member from the blasted GD Biohazard coming here into Gamma’s presence to prove herself worthy of His divinity. We shall give her a warm welcome, but the woman will have to prove herself capable of withstanding Gamma’s power at its most pure…” Lixian said,
“Gamma’s will shall bring down that beast!” One shouted,
“None can hold back His power for long!” Another commented,
“For Gamma!” The rest shouted,
“I’m going to take that as a yes. Prepare the trials Fleama!” He told one his Grand Zealot,
“It would be my honor High Confessor.” She said before heading off,
“And you,” He looked at Bilgekar,
“Provide her with moral support, she’s going to need every ounce of it if she hopes to pass His trial.” He said worrying Bilgekar.
Meltdown walked to the waste oil facility where she could see Bilgekar waiting for her outside. He paced back and forth nervously,
“There’s no backing out of this now. Are you sure you still want to go through with this?” He asked her,
“Absolutely, I’ve got to prove to them that there’s still someone on their side in all of this.” She replied confidently.
“Very well, I’ll be with you throughout the trial.” Meltdown laughed,
“Good to know, tough boy. Now let’s get in there and begin” She told him,
“Follow me.” Bilgekar led her through the hole and into the hidden city of cultists. Meltdown was amazed how far these people were able to get without being found out yet.
“You guys amaze me how far you’ve come.” Bilgekar rolled his eyes,
“You give us far too much credit here. This is literally made from the junk we find outside of your landfill. Anything that’s out of the line we claim as ours for building materials.” She looked at him like they were thieves,
“Well… how do you feed yourselves?” Meltdown asked,
“We’ve found the plants have found ways to resist Gamma’s power.” He showed her the crops they were growing with the radioactive water.
“I’m a lot more impressed that you all managed to survive down here for being a bunch of cultists-” Bilgekar stopped her there,
“What did I say about calling us that!?” Meltdown huffed,
“Fine…” The awkward silence was back with a vengeance before,
“We’re here!” The two had reached the area prepared for the trial.
Meltdown looked up to see the High Confessor speaking to his Grand Zealot.
“Ahh… the beast has entered the lair. Welcome! To our humble domain, you are very lucky that we have accepted you to try and best Gamma’s power. Shall we begin?” He asked,
“Very well, are you going to shove a hose up my butt?” Everyone looked around,
“A few steps ahead of us I see.” Meltdown found the hose,
“Allow me.” Everyone looked away for a moment before they could hear meltdown was ready.
“Gamma. Bring upon her your most powerful of glows!” The pump started and Meltdown could the liquid already going into her body,
“This is it? Do all initiates have to do this?” She asked unamused,
“SILENCE! This test is specially meant for you. Nobody else is going to receive this test except you. For you are one of the legendary beasts who hold back his power, and if you truly want to prove to us that you belong to this family then you must show us that you are far more powerful than previously thought.” He explained,
“Okay then, I can take a few more rads than usual.” Meltdown boasted,
"We'll see about that," Lixian replied he snickered at the girl’s confident attitude. Her stomach began filling up with the nuclear liquid, she only stood there undaunted by this liquid expanding her belly. Bilgekar stood next to Lixian anxious to see if Meltdown would pass it.
Nothing was said for the next several minutes as Meltdown swelled with “Gamma’s Power” with the nuclear liquid. Closely Bilgekar watched when he saw a strange thing going on: there was the faintest glow of green coming from Meltdown’s stomach as it continued to grow. He said nothing of the matter believing it to be unimportant.
“So is this all the test is? Because I practically do this on a daily basis.” She put her arms on her head in confidence.
“We are just getting started here. You still have much more to go on this trial. Perhaps Gamma may shine a light on you and accept you into his family.” Lixian spoke. Whatever was going on Meltdown felt confident that she was going to get through this test without much trouble. Bilgekar, on the other hand, kept an eye on her stomach to watch if her stomach would change any further. He believed that it was just the light from the cave illuminating on her but if it wasn't, then it was a discovery worth asking Lixian about at the end of this.
Meltdown casually stroked her stomach while waiting for the test to end but Bilgekar began taking notice that the green glow was intensifying instead of dissipating or even staying the same. He believed that it was something that couldn’t be ignored for much longer,
“High Confessor, do you not notice the green glow coming from her?” He pointed Lixian to the glow being emitted from Meltdown’s stomach.
“My, my. That is very strange, we'll keep an eye on that. For right now, however, we will just watch and see how she reacts to this strange glow.” Meltdown could not hear the two conversing with each other as she relaxed and let the stress melt away. This trial to her was just another day to relax and let the liquid fill her up to great sizes. But she felt strange all over as her skin tingled with enjoyment and pleasure as the heavily irradiated toxic waste poured into her burgeoning body. But even the glow became too bright for Meltdown to ignore, it was something she couldn't wrap her head around but she thought nothing of it and continued to rub her belly.
After a bit, she noticed her breasts and hips were beginning to join in,
“About time…” She giggled as she kneaded her slowly expanding breasts. Lixian took notice in the brilliant bright green glow her stomach now emitted at this point in growing,
“It’s quite the strange sight I’ll have to admit, but it’s not worth being worried over. She’s simply being enveloped in Gamma’s power.” Lixian commented,
“What is that strange light that is getting more and more intense?” Meltdown asked herself,
“Why is this happening?” She continued ask annoyed. Her stomach groans intensified as the toxic waste continued to flow into her body. This ritual was just another routine leak protocol for her, nothing special. Though suddenly Meltdown began panicking when she noticed,
“What is going on with my suit!?” The cultists quickly turned their attention to her stomach as it burned through the latex rubber like it was nothing. Soon the rest of her body followed as it chewed away the suit like wet tissue paper. Lixian watched in interest as he saw her body now revealed for everyone to see.
Meltdown’s body was somewhat see through and appeared to be made out of some sort of green gel or slime, her eyes were now a beady red like her gas mask lenses. Her privates disappeared as her breasts continued to swell out with “Gamma’s Power”,
“What’s going on here!? I demand an explanation!” Meltdown screamed,
‘Could this be? Impossible…’ Lixian thought to himself,
“Umm… High Confessor? Are you okay?” Bilgekar asked,
“Huh? Oh! Yes, I am, perfectly fine.” He cleared his throat and regained composure,
“Do you know what you have brought in?” Bilgekar looked confused,
“A GD Biohazard member?” He replied,
“More than that, you have brought in one of Gamma's Descendants. One of His kin. She's not just one of Gamma's Chosen, she is truly one with Gamma.” Lixian signaled for the pump to be stopped. Meltdown popped the hose out and admired herself. Her belly was giant, despite that she barely took up even half the pit, her breasts were big yoga balls and her hips had widened to looking like large volleyballs. All parts of her body felt soft and jiggly, just how she liked it.
“This is amazing… what have I become?” She felt her skin which surprisingly felt no different but her hair was a different story. It felt all slimy and gel-like fascinating Meltdown.
“I need to tell the others about this.” She said twirling it around.
She saw Bilgekar running down and embracing her. As she hugged him back she could tell that he was tearing up,
“There’s no need to get so emotional about this.” She rolled her eyes,
“It’s not that, your stomach is emitting a bright light that’s getting into my eyes.” She looked down and remembered the glowing coming from her belly,
“Then I suggest we stop hugging and get you a pair of sunglasses.” She pushed him off,
“Tonight, we have witnessed before us, the revealing of one of Gamma’s Descendants! She is truly worthy of Gamma’s presence. Let us celebrate the induction of our new sister!” Lixian announced. Meltdown blushed,
“That’s sweet of you, I’m honored that I was accepted by you all.” The rest of the family cheered. Bilgekar hugged her once more,
“This will remain between us and you, correct?” He said mentioning the rest of GD Biohazard.
“Absolutely. They aren’t finding out anytime soon.” She snickered.
“Now we have a celebration to attend.” Meltdown mentioned and the two laughed.
A week later when Meltdown wandered out of the tunnel she was immediately inspected by scientists and medical experts on her bizarre form. They concluded it was some sort of mutation caused by heavily radiated toxic waste and thus she was in no danger. Eventually, her form went back to normal in the following month so they saw no danger. During the night Meltdown had gotten ready for bed when she was approached by Putrax. The moment she looked at him he had an entirely different appearance. His jumpsuit was now olive green, his legs were far more android looking, and his hair was changed up and he wore a military sergeant's cap on top.
“Well Meltdown, it's about time I say goodbye to you for right now.” He said placing a hand on her shoulder,
“What are you talking about? You're not going back to join the army again, are you? You're already out of commission Putrax.” Meltdown mentioned,
“It's okay. I'm going to be leaving to go back to my family for retirement, I just wanted to say goodbye and I hope we do meet again sometime. By the way, call me Creston.” He gave her a heartwarming hug.
“Alright. Just promise me that you'll visit me and the others from time to time, okay?” She said,
“I promise. See you around.” He said before grabbing his stuff and leaving.
“Goodbye, brother.” Meltdown sighed before heading to bed.
