people who can't pay attention to where they're driving need to be riding something driven by someone else who is and is payed to be. preferable something small, solar powered and on narrow gauge rails or some sort of elevated/underground "monorail" structure. mechanical energy and transportation is possible without being a menace to everything else, it just take caring enough about the importance of doing so. i like just big enough 'trains' winding through the woods, not paving over so much of the world for cars, that all the little magical places you can only find by walking, have been carelessly blindly plowed under and destroyed to do so.
