Here's a possible scenario.
Lithius Bennett was having a say off from his superhero duties when a company called "Bubble Up" asked him if they could do a trial run with their product "Bubble Up's Cola Craziness" A new cola drink that is sure to be crazy. So Lithius tried the drink out in order to make sure the drink is safe. However within moments of drinking it.. his gut began to feel rounder, slowly it got bigger and bigger causing his button shirt to open under his apron as his belly began to grow more and more.
