There is a look that seems to say "why are you standing in front of me while I'm sitting on the floor in the presence of a couch trying to watch television while listening to something else?"
A picture that used to be here a few years ago . Quite honestly I have not drawn this creature since then.

I move it around with a button held to place lines in an image document. Since there is no pressure sensitivity I often most go over one line multiple times if I do not want it to look blobbish. The program I use, Paint Shop Pro 6, has a tool called "retouch" with a mode named "push" that I use for blending the colors or altering the shape of forms.
There was hardly a first run! Just a brief walk. Somebody was giving "shark week" discount a few years ago, and I didn't have much need for the creature beyond that. The lack of nose and ears and no clear rule for how to attach the head to the body and have it look much like the source animal were troublesome to me.
I have found in my life that the most difficult tasks tend to give birth to frustration, and I have a hundred designs harder to draw than this one that would probably just bother people. However, this drawing was fairly simple and people seem to like it well enough despite being four years old, so I suppose the creature is worth trying again with.
