That's how it goes though, and in the end, I don't think he deserved her - perhaps he realizes that and that's why he lets her go. Hmmm. Intriguing.

Yeah, perhaps. Its interesting that we share some of the same feelings about the plot and the characters.

As i told someone before, this was veyr instrumental in helping me "try out" a relationship with a male friend who was hot and heavy on me without actually giving up Teffy, and it allowed me to see in a very real way, why it wouldn't work out and why teffy would.
Kitten- as well as me- is too passionate to have an equally passionate partner, she needs someone to keep her grounded and calm- Teffy does that for her, while Kain loves her and is great- he's too passionate to keep her grounded.

But as for Kain, like Kitten, he's very complicated, but he's a big boy and he takes care of himself- as does Kyle >^.~<
Kyle is actually a character Kain- the REAL Kain made for a story i based my version of the motorcycle fight/race on, i really love him tho. >^.^<

*nods* Yes! I could see that in the story. Kitten and Teffy compliment each other rather than compete with each other. She's the yin to his yang so to speak.

Yes, I really liked Kyle. The true friend who doubles as the voice of truth and reason - and has such wonderful empathy to all charcters involved.
