The lines here are a lot less "scratchy" than your usual style. Intentional, or just a by-product of the stuff you had on hand?

The eye experiment worked, I think; they're still pretty expressive and seem to gel with the rest of how you draw faces well. Engineer looks good, but Scout, Sniper, and Spy all appear to have nearly the same body?

Someone commented about the Pyro's legs and tiny head already so yeah.

I actually had no references on hand. This was pretty much winging it.

I was trying to make Sniper look taller and a little lankier than Scout, but it didn't quite work out. And Spy was very rushed.

Yeah, Pyro looks the worst out of the bunch.

Sniper's hat looks like it is just sitting on the very top of his head, not actually on it.

Medic and Snipers crotches look rather bulgy. Like they stuffed. Thats something I need to do more too, study men in pants kinda deal. Like ... how the crotch looks. Always looks weird.




I don't know why you would have to stop tf2. Since you are drawing them in your own style and you enjoy drawing them, they are a good human base for you. If you where drawing in tf2 style and wanted to fix your own, that would be a different deal.

the thing i would recommend if you really wanna get better is start experimenting with different mediums. You are trying to focus more on anatomy and that's a good thing. The thread on TF2 chan on anatomy is actually really good and all that is really needed is more practice.
Although you do have a unique style that always seems to stand out (in a good way), maybe you can focus on ways to better yourself in that case.

As for the different mediums, you could start drawing with inks and pens. Pens (like Microns) make it so that you know there is no room for error and you will eventually KNOW that you need to draw 'perfectly'.

Seeing your gallery, you can get anatomy down in no time! It just takes time and practice and i know you can do it.

if anything, invest in some Microns. They are really nice cuz when you scan them to your computer as Black and White Text, it comes out really nice.

Hands looking better, especially Sniper's right and Pyro's left. You've gotten your eyes better too, and well positioned. Pyro's pose looks somewhat unnatural, though. And Scout looks sort of like a trap. That last one may have been intentional, though.
