Growing more and more attached to the idea of an anthropomorphic version of Shinx.
Also growing much more attached to atmospheric backgrounds...
I'm a bit of a daydreamer in that regard. I often just head to the cliffs where I live to think.

I proposed the idea of an anthro Shinx to zuriku, with the idea of it being near the surface of the ocean.
I live very close to the ocean myself, and often when I'm feeling a little blue, I head there to clear my thoughts.
I wanted to capture that in the form of my current sona, Shinx.

I'm really grateful to zuriku for both taking my request, and for creating this incredible piece.
I'm also glad that he learnt quite a few things from doing this commission, too.
It's always nice to give artists a new angle/challenge to work with and see what they can do.
He definitely did an amazing job. I'm in love with it. ♥

Again, I like to leave the emotions/thoughts/feelings down to your own interpretation.
Though, I've been feeling very much how this image depicts lately. Take that as you will.
