This was my side project. It was a great relax and I had so much fun to work on a character from Zootopia. :)

There have been several Judy(s) and Nick(s) being sold not just in the furry fandom but a few other fandoms as well. Not to mention several hundred other types of characters from hundreds of shows, movies, etc. Cosplays, Fursuits, Costumes, etc. As long as you're not claiming to -own- the character or trying to go against the companies that own the characters in some sort of legal battle for rights or something, not many see anything wrong with it. None have been told they aren't allowed either. There's no need to police Zurya, if that's the case there'd be a 100-year list of posts you need to go and comment on as well.
im only warning and yes there really is a rule you cant make profit out of disney's characters. i know there are more who do this. im not policing anyone. im just warning. because if disney sees this the makers is gonna get huge huge problem with it. you are allowed to make characters. but you're not allowed to make profit out of them. its just agains the law and im only warning nothing more
its like compareing apples with cars.... a fursona is representing the owner , a disney character is designed to earn profit from it, not to represent one person, theyr emotions, wishes and such... if you would built and sell an amount of hundreds of nick fursuits it would be against the law, but if you make just one and thendecide to sell it, it wont be a big deal at all...i dont think disney would start a fight for just some "peanuts"... but hey keep up your work by frightening good artists who sell copyrighted characters so NOBODY will built such a fantastic Suit again!
im not frightening anyone im not threat anyone. but its just the same . if im making a simba suit and selling it or you sona and selling it . they are noth copyrights. nah not that. i bet you dont own an official copyright on your sona. so its even more legal than making a disney suit. and you can threat me with i run you into the ground. but how will you do that ? i wont make your sona because i can make up my own sona's i dont feel any need to. but you cant make me anything if i did. you guys make a big deal out of nothing. i was just warning because selling copyright items does have his risk
Wow you're coming off rather pompous aren't you? Yes, actually, I do have copy-rights on all my fursonas. It's not hard to get them at all it just took time to get my letters in the mail.
Since you want to act like a child, I'll put you in the corner like one. Consider yourself blocked. I know when I'm arguing with someone who cannot take a hint. This is most certainly a lost cause to fight since you want to throw everything we're telling you into the trash and act so high and mighty. :') I will say this warning, if I see my sonas being copied by you, yes, YOU WILL get into some major trouble since yes, my sonas are copy righted TO ME.
We've already repeated how you're comparing "apples to cars" so there's no point in re-stating it.

The Disney costume is a lot different than the Nick Wylde self made costume. This suit is nice, but they can always say Nick Wild looks like any other fox costume. If you look at the Disney Nick Wild it's clearly Mascot looking. So the way she made it is already a certain percentage difference, which she is allowed to do.
yeah it indeed looks a bit different :) but by calling it nick she still can have a bit of a risk. and i dont comment because i mean harm you know. i just dont want to see such an good artist getting in trouble. it doesnt happen a lot but its still a bit risky. but i think some people see my comment as a total hate or something haha.
Naw, she is going to be fine. I've worked with people who make wannabe suits as a profession and it passes the standards of still being different from the Disney costumes. There is so many furries who have Disney suits and Disney has yet to do anything about it, really. Usually, people use them at cons or private use. Do you ever see Criag's List that says, " Want to have Minnie Mouse at your party?" and it's a funny knock off? It's still Minnie and copyright character, but is allowed to get away with it due to it being a certain percentage different. Plus, Disney knows many furries are foxes. These colors are nothing special nor look of it compared to many foxes in the fandom. She is allowed to call it Nick Wild. People who buy it are not allowed to walk in the Disney Land park nor pose at birthday parties saying the real authentic Nick Wild and say he or she works for Disney. That is not allowed or mass produce the suit or mass the produce a suit to rent at birthday parties.
Only reason why I know, my mom's worked on Disney costume's and worked for professional business poser costumes.
Not many people know the rules.
Also comparing a personal suit and compare it to Disney costume being made is different. If one were to make a costume of your character and make it as their own, technically they can. It would make them look like a dick tho and major copycat. They would loose a lot of respect. I know China is stealing people's sona's and mass producing it. It looks like shit.
I know you don't mean harm, but it's the internet and it's hard for people to actually think and understand what others are trying to convey. It's very easy to be a dick on here.

yeah i know about china. but you dont have laws there XD you really cant make them anything. and yeah people can be quite rude in the internet. you dont want to know what a shit storm i got when i got an angel dragon sona XD because i made mine as 3th angel dragon with aprove of inoo , but still people gafe me a huge shitstorm because when i got mine it was closed to get one XD
Zurya is also over-seas so there's really not much that can be done. On top of that, what
said is entirely my point in this matter as well.
I didn't get in trouble with Marvel Comics for making 3 deadpool cosplays nor the Avengers when I was in the comic book cosplay making scene. I don't see Zurya mass creating Nick suits either. Just one. She isn't claiming ownership, either. So she's done nothing wrong.
Like I said, if you're going to internet police someone, make sure you know -everything- to back up your claim.

im not sure if making a marvel themed is the same. im sure its also somewhere a bit of a risk for sure. but its totally different from making simba. i think there is a different between a theme or an copy. but ill never said dont make it. i mean it looks awesome really. just a warning.
I think this falls under fair use. So it should be fine.

I agree with you it's okay to make them, but selling it is a different thing and it is risky. However I doubt Disney would make a claim at one person overseas for doing so and making a few bucks (compared to their income).
(But I had to show support as for the load of hate for no reason)
