This is supposed to be represent anxiety, which is what I suffer from, but it looks more like some other kind of mental illness after playing with so many effects to make it look certain ways that I found suited the image.
The top half of the body of the entity was supposed to have a motion blur effect (like a twitchy effect of the Silent Hill monsters), but it wouldn't work out well so I had to resort to leaving it like this, with the closest motion blur effect being the shift filter.
I'll leave you viewers to decide on what mental illness this would represent.
Done on Sai, GIMP, and Photofiltre with a mouse.
