I created this drawing by the fact you can read below.
FACT:
the platformer Croc for PSX was originally meant to be a platformer starring yoshi, because sony and nintendo
had a contract developing a CD-Reading Add on for the Super Nintendo.
Nintendo didnt liked the idea how much rights sony had to their character like Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong and Metroid.
so nintend left sony with the contract and moved over to philips (the CDI got the bad mario/zelda games because of that)
Sony was so angry about that action, they took the Add On back and turned it into their own console today known as the Playstation. (There were even prototypes of the PSX still having a SNES Controller)
Yuuup, it was Nintendo who created the PSX and the other playstation consoles. and after the great Success of the PS2, Microsoft thought: "mhhh...we can do better!" and created the XBox to be another competitor.
The 3 Big Gaming Companies still fighting that day. oh yeah, SEGA joined Nintendo even after those offending advertises.

Good information and I love your artwork, but that said I would like to add. Croc was created by Argonaut (creators of StarFox). Argonaut pitched this game to Nintendo as a Yoshi platformer and was rejected and shortly after Nintendo cut all ties with Argonaut. So they redesigned the main character so it wasn't Yoshi ... into Croc. Croc was originally meant to be a Sega Saturn exclusive, but ended up being released for PS1, Sega Saturn, and MS Windows.

Still Yoshi is more popular by the looks of it, I just wish (part of it) that Croc and Yoshi would be back together again, what's going on?
It's lucky for me I liked Croc... (I still loved Yoshi though!)
