Here's the next photo from CBRFUR, this one taken from the outing to the National Gallery of Australia.

He's a bit of an unknown icon in Australia, famously responsible for the 'Mall's Balls' in Rundle Mall in Adelaide and similar structure to this made of cubes in a park across from my work in Belconnen.
He's also buried one of these things in Commonwealth Park here in Canberra, seemingly just to screw with future archeologists :P
As you can see, this is a monumental structure, and has been on my list of 'things to photograph with fursuiters' for at least a decade.
It's so bizarre and abstract, the juxtaposition of this giant, futuristic, entirely modern structure in a natural setting just begs for the added flare of people in animal costumes to set it off.
I look forward to being able to pose with this when I get my fursuit.

i've seen naturally occuring gold inclusions inside of crystal rock shaped like that. the whole inclusion was about a centimeter long. if you enlarged it way up without the surrounding rock it would look something like that. only not shiny, because gold itself really isn't. it was some thing i saw at a rock and mineral show a long time ago. its possible the mine it came from may have been in oz. though where i lived and grew up was the gold mining district in the northern sierras in california.
