Yay, another cut-out :) The postcard in the background I got from Paperchase and I knew it would be just a perfect background for Watermelon. ^^ All pieces of card except for the lines on the paws and middles of ears (and the watermelon title) which is white gel pen of course ^^
+ some cupcake stickers. He likes cakes too!! Especially strawberry cakes :)
This scanned pretty well, except I'd say the paws are a bit pinker and the whole thing a bit more bright in real life ^_^ Quite pleased with how it came out. I don't have a knife to do this with, just clumsy scissors so getting the eyes right is tricky sometimes XD

Such happy colour combinations ^..^ I absolutely adore these cut out creations of yours Hon.
They combine your talent for layering different colours to create a multi dimensional background, with your trademark use of fantastic vibrant colour fills and simple shapes to create the body.
And the colour you used for the ears, I would marry thoes colours (if I weren't engaged , oh heck, mabey I'll marry them too ^.^)

Aw thanks!! I'm glad you like it, this one was so fun to do with the bright colours, and the colour I got for the pink/orange is actually really nice and quite accurate in real life ^^
Hehe, I'm sure Ethy would let you marry the colours too, they are lovely :3 The good thing about these latest pieces of card I got is that they had them in really unique colours and not just primary/basic colours. I might do a Xandy one of these soon :3

Watermelon's colors are really pretty!! <333 His lighter colors really go well with the adorably bright background. I am definitely gonna have to get some colored paper so I can try to make some of these. I doubt I would have the patience though, it looks like it would be really hard to get everything the right size and stuff. You just seem to be talented at every kind of art you try, and it is all CUTE!! I envy you sometimes for that x3 I think this is definitely my favorite thing you have made so far ^^
Aww, thanks so much honey. ^^ I went to a place where you could fill a box with different coloured card for £4.99 and got loads - the colours they had were really varied and unique too ^^
Well - I am sticking with pretty simple shapes because it can be fiddly.. I sketch out a rough shape on paper for the sizing, and then sometimes sketch on the card first before cutting it. With the eyes I just kinda guess and sometimes do them a few times before they are right. xD I bet you could do stuff like this too, its not too difficult :)

As this is the case it might feel sort of odd to him to eat them..so he prefers to eat strawberries. They are yummy ^^
