For UFO Day, we have a commission for
zeek_hedgehog based on Ezekiel 1:4-20, about "Zeek's" vision of "angels."
I must admit I'm quite proud of how this turned out, despite some initial concerns at first.

It always amuses me that christians seem to very commonly believe angels are dead people who went to heaven, and they look like people with wings.
But in their actual holy book angels have nothing to do with deceased believers, being inhuman, pre-human celestial creatures. Who generally look like various lovecraftian abominations with multiple faces wings and other features. Or maybe like wheels within wheels covered in eyes and other such features. (And don't get me started on revelations. XD)
Then again, believers don't really actually often read the book they think their own god handed down to them... Which is quite amazing.
I also think it was... I think... Erich von Daniken, who came with the idea of interpreting that passage from Ezekiel as a UFO?
I gotta say though seeing a furry rendition of that idea, complete with proper lovecraftian angel DOES actually make me love the internet. And I don't mean that sarcastically either! I genuinely love this day and age for stuff like this! It's so much less boring then when I was little!
That and I love the wealth of easily accessible data at my fingertips at all times. So much better then lugging encyclopedia's around as a kid.
