I'm very sad to have to be giving you a photo of this inking and not a beautiful scan. I had plans for this dude. I was going to colour him and make his skin and insides see-through It should look wicked cool when I'm done.
Alas this drawing is for the Species_X_Change and it must be submitted today. And I can't get my boyfriend's scanner to scan. >.>
So I hope the photo doesn't ruin the appeal of this drawing. I'll finish this later when I finish up some commissions and get access to a working scanner >.>

Were you planning to colour this traditionally? Going to be a bit of a challenge trying the see-through effect with it, if you do take that route I'd love to see how you attempted it.
Anyhow, it's looking great. Some nice use of line-weight to keep everything clear and prominent among all the overlapping lines there Zak.

Was gonna go with
-gradient of purples and blues for the background
-a hot red pink colour for the organs
-a light tawny-grey colour for the skin
-a brown-grey colour for the heavy furred areas
-and for the bones I was either thinking a white ice blue or a very light toxic green

hmm.. yeah I thought the toxic green would be cool but honestly I'm leaning more toward the ice blue because I think purple and pink clash horribly with green. I think only flowers can put that shit off :P But an idea just came to mind... what if I got rid of the hot pink and made the organs the toxic green instead? or should I stick with the more natural looking organs? :P
well the bat'll look unnatural itself, won't it ;D
it's your decision after all and I don't want to influence you too much
but you're rigth with the ice blue and the pink, I just tried it out :P
the green and the pink looked good in my head but on paper I don't quiet like it ^^;

:P That's silly. I will try and make it look beautiful. :3
First I submitted an Olm, which is like an elongated Axolotl. And then I submitted the basilisk lizard. This time I submitted the blue-ringed octopus so hopefully they will do it. I try my best to pick ones that I think would be fun to draw... but it's hard 'cause what interests me doesn't alway interest someone else :P
