Cal is a bit of an adventurer.
I'm trying to practice backgrounds more and I definitely learned a lot from this.
I also tried out a new method in which I painted on top of layers rather than merging them. I didn't keep perfect track but this had over 70.

Pretty! I really like what you did with the water and the lightning from the outside; it helps get that calming feeling across c:
Question though, and this is just something I'm wondering about:
The lamp in the cave on the left, wouldn't it give off more light against the wall, or is it supposed to be dim? It just looks to me like it's too bright if that's the case :o
