Yolanda Vixen by Dustmeat - my quick colour
So Megan posted this a few hours ago, and asked the silly question:"Would anyone like to color this?"
Quick colour, just a little over an hour. Will get back to this later to improve contrast/values.
Couldn't find any colour ref, so this is my own take based on basic fox colours.

i got a few good crayons...sky blue is just a nub or i woulda made made background behind her lighter so she would stand out better.
...okay, yeah, just posted it and then had second thoughts. Most of it was done with flat colours, and my tiny reptilian stem-brain only thought about values after i posted it.

Thanks...but yes, i know. The appimage will not run. Tried everything talked about on line, but i seem to be missing an additional bit of software to run it, and can't find what it is. Been stuck with Ubuntu 12.04 for a years or so because the fellow who installed it was a few wires short of competent and it doesn't recognize the video card etc (let alone new monitor)...and he put Kubunto on 70% of my drive...Seriously thinking of backing everything up and and re-partioning tp 50% Mint (Rebbecca or Cinnamon - did that for wife's old comp), 40% Ubuntu and 10% Kubuntu. Any advice?
Hmmm, yes, I agree that's weird. I installed Krita 2.9 from the PPA, but there doesn't seem to be any updates to 3.0 down that path yet.
I'm running Linux Mint 17.3 here and the appimage works fine under Cinnamon and MATE desktops, so I think it's worth at least taking Mint (now at v.18 Sarah) for a spin on a LiveDVD/USB to see if it likes your video card before doing a full install.
Alternatively if you felt brave enough you could try compiling it yourself to run on your Ubuntu setup (as per David Revoy's "Building Krita 3.0 for Linux For Cats" - http://www.davidrevoy.com/article19.....linux-for-cats ) - but I think it's probably more worthwhile doing the upgrade from Ubuntu 12.04 to Linux Mint 18 and running off the appimage.

Thanks for advice! ^_^
i've decided to keep using 2.9 for at least the next few months - it works, and the animation feature would just be a huge tempting distraction while i have lots of pics way way overdue to be finished!
i've got another old comp i have get set-up as an alternate and then i'll try updating to current ubuntu and wipr kubuntu from other partition and install mint (installed mint on wife's comp last year, so somewhat familar with it) then the 3 appimage should work.will do that in a few months.
