"Hey, It actually fits!" Mused Duchess in a gentle voice. ^^
This is a character I created many many years ago back when I first learned about Alaskan Malamutes. I initially designed both a male and female counterpart named "Duke & Ducchess" Where the guy was large and muscular the girl was lithe and attractive (sporting a nice umm posterior too) But over time I started drawing her more and more muscular and it eventually turned out that she was his equal if not superior. This character was abandoned though after the seventh grade because I really had just forgotten about her. But awhile ago me and
cmdr-a were having an open canvas session and I happened to remember her. So after drawing her a few times I basically let Cmdr-A adopt her ^_^
and from there he's drawn her ALOT! we've even worked on her story togeather as a collaberative character .

Haha well I wanted to start out *mostly* normal.. that and my little notebook I carry around to draw in is only like 6x8 :3 not too much room to cram (all) of her in there.
And yeah me and Andor keep calling her a big puppy since she's pretty sweet. So I figured the quote works XD
Thanks too about the fur! I actually learned a new brush technique from a friend while I was working on this and it really has helped me reach a new level. The carmen pic I did on Ustream went so much faster than this one because I'm getting used to that new style of digital coloring. (and avoiding use of the dodge and burn tools) because if you manually pic your own colors it's so much more vibrant!

But oh God. Puppy Power :D Thats almost as cute as puppys wide load i did once in a sketch xD hee. The good times we had OCing the big girl. I miss them, But it was fun working together so long and hard on her. It seriously was a long trip from start to finish with her. And I'm glad how she turned out for better or....naw not worse, For better or BIGGER >:3
I love it. Its absolutely adorable. And she overall is fantastic looking. You made our big girl look so pretty and that mally charm she usually would. :)

well this actually started as a doodle in my notebook, but I kept adding to it as time went on ^^ The neat part was that I tried a whole bunch of new things on this including digital pen-tool inking and the texture work. And the whole puppy power thing I figured fit her best considering her personality when she feels playful. :3 Eventually I'll be making a better pic of her but with so much on my plate and so many characters that need drawn it might be a bit. Though it's not hard to find the inspiration to draw her... and draw her a little bit bigger each time ^^;; Thanks so much though dude for just working with me in OC because it really got me out of my stump and it's so much fun to see things come togeather.. But most of all just thanks for being my friend Andor, it's so nice to have people to inspire me back and on the occasion vent to when I just need an impartial view XD So glad you liked it buddy!
Seriously. Its no problem at all man. Its been an honor to be friends for as long as we have and done so much. Its been over a year. And its been great the times we've been through, with so much time as great friends in the future. Duchess just brought the two of us as even greater friends in the end. A link you could call her. She's special more then just her traits that make her what and who she is, but what she means to the two of us. :)
I'm seriously glad we got to do as much as we have over time. And oh so look forward to the future. Slowly of course! :3 But it was great experiment. She seemed to help both of us in our art in one way to another ;) Got both of us to increase our coloring skills greatly in new ways. :) Both of us gained so much x) she really is a handful, pushing us to new limits.

It makes me so happy to see somebody actually reading descriptions XD ahh me and Andor have stressed that it's a joint character but people just seem to be hopping to either mine or his side. *mostly his* because he's got more in his gallery of her ;3 . I'll make more of her in the future though now that she's been essentially revived. Just never thought such an old character would get so popular @_@;;
