According to the Pokédex Espeon is gifted with the ability to sense its surroundings with its fine, velvety fur. So here we have one sitting next to a warm fire reading two books at once! (Yes, she's reading with her butt!)

I am playing around with shading here. I wanted to try something with greater contrast. I am uncomfortable with the way I shade things, like it takes me longer than it should. I guess I'm revamping my style again...

I believe Espeon is based off of the nekomata http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nekomata
Foxes don't have the slender tails that cats do, so I believe Espeon fits the bill of being a kitty.

-nods- Besides I think all the eeveelutions have a mix of cat/fox/rabbit in there some where. Especially rabbit with umbreon, with its head and ears.
