Hatchwork is tedious, but rewarding. The masters at it can really build a fully "painted" image from the thinnest of lines.

Look at Bernie Wrightson's Frankenstein and be amazed.

ok, jawdrop amazement at the detail. Also, in love with your patchwork crosshatching in between the suns rays, so cool how the scale shrinks and kinda implies hazy detail and distance. Really surprising technique and I need to try this. Whats the scale of this piece? Pretty big, or do you have insanely small pen tips- I havent been able to find pens that go as fine as I want anywhere..

also, I so love the wolfs big nose. Its round an disarmingly cute for such a large figure with a leer and air of menacing intent. Stinkin wuff, I know he'd eat me. Quit bein so cute
