I'm sorry, but I don't really understand the question.
But, when it comes to drawing shapes, that's sorta up to you. Everything is made of shapes, but not everyone uses them to sketch. For example, some draw a skeleton instead, muscles or don't sketch at all. I use some shapes, but I don't make the whole image out of shapes.
