I decided to get back in touch with Lotta and commission portraits of the other wind spirits in Zephaera's family, which were completed in December 2008.

This is Europa, spirit of the East Wind and the second oldest of the Cardinal Winds (as I've decided to call the traditional four). If you hadn't guessed, she's got a secondary affinity for fire/heat, and it shows up in her personality. She's the most chaotic of the siblings, passionate and hot tempered. She loves a good fight, or better yet a good brawl, and has a capricious (and sometimes bloodthirsty) sense of humor that leads her to render aid or sow conflict in whatever way is most amusing to her at the time. While she keeps the letter of whatever bargains she makes, she's been known to find and exploit loopholes, vague points, and overly literal language for the sake of pure contrariness.

Whatever else she may be, Europa is a consummate drama queen, or even a LARGE ham. If something is worth doing, it's worth doing dramatically, and she typically (over)acts as if she's constantly playing to an audience and loving every minute of it. Animal/hybrid form: falcon.
