Just messing around with Flash at 3 in the morning, I wanted to try animating with my tablet and in my new WIP cartoony style. I was never good with walking cycles so I put a load of effort into trying out some techniques to make a good one. I got there though x] I decided just Russell walking was too boring, so I added a smooth moving back ground and decided to animate in a shadow too.
Finally, something I did, staying up late at night, that's I'm happy with x]

I think if he keeps walking with his eyes closed, he's going to run into something nasty sooner or later. Like an open manhole, a pothole, a flight of stairs, a tree, a hydrant, a lamp post, a sign post, a number of other kinds of posts...

very cool, i wish i could do animations XD The only thing i would suggest changing if i did it, would be the thickness of the lines on the character compared to the background. The backgrounds lines are thicker than the character's lines, so stare the background more than him, cause he doesnt pop out.
