Dakota has a strong relationship with both Taffy and Lem. Lem is very avoidant, somewhat antisocial and can lash out if she's feeling annoyed or upset; she's less well-adjusted than the rest of them, and still kind of possessive over Dakota. Taffy is the cool-headed unofficial "leader" of the gang who pushes boundaries a little but never goes too far. Taffy and Lem butt heads a little, but in the end they still work well together.

Licorice is happy to stay in the background most of the time, he just needs a little love now and then to feel content. He's a little on the anxious side and easily flustered.
