I bet next year at AC the fursuit parade will be a WHOLE LOT BIGGER than the last one.

It gets bigger every year. I'm waiting for parade floats.

Parade float suits

It's never really the parade. It's the setting up, the picture, and then the trying to file out. It's just always so grueling at the big cons.

I understand going single file to make every suit more visible...but maybe not on the time when we have such an enormous increase in suiters in the parade. I was close to the halfway point, and when I got back in, I noticed a few rows of suiters still waiting to leave the hall. It just felt a bit odd. Especially due to how far away everybody was, it made it very hard to interact with the Pittsburghers without destroying the flow of the parade. Same with the congoers inside, although they barely seemed to get too much time. The Dealer's Den especially felt quite barren, when it came to the parade.

I didn't pass out, but I felt AWFUL after the parade. It was ROUGH. I had to take a good 30 minutes, at least, of a break afterward, just so that I could get the energy to go back to my hotel room at the Renaissance and clean up. Next year, I hope to have enough suiting experience that it won't be so bad. And I'm going to try and room closer to the con. =P

That many suits and summer heat, yep you surviving is an achievement and same for all others. Hope MFF has a better setup this year also.

I did my first ever this year at Califur 2016 in a partial. Though wearing full jedi garb 6 or so hourse can nearly be as exhausting, mostly with that with leather belt sometimes it feels like I can't breath and I perform in it, lol

Maybe they will need to divide it up into two smaller parades. It was over an hr in suit (mine is a fullsuit with padding) and I wasnt sure I was going to make it through the whole thing lol
