My brothers in arms or rather in fur
have all left their lives, whatever they were
to congregate together here in Pittsburgh
to enjoy the weekend all in a blur

We've come here again some old and some new
this intolerable world made better by you
I've met with my friends and made new ones too
oh god how I wish that these days weren't so few

Now that it's over the weekend is done
though back to our homes we have all gone
across borders and waters we all share this bond
I love you all, each and every one

I went to Anthrocon this weekend and it was one of the best experiences of my life, I had already written another poem for this week but i was inspired to write this. I'll be posting some of the pictures that I took in my scraps soon
