While Arken might be a bit stand-offish at times, he has a genuine care for the humans- especially those he's made contracts with. He'll often serve multiple members of the same family line willingly. He's a harsh judge of character however and makes sure his opinions are known.
Arken is most active during the nighttime hours, preferring the light of the moon to the light of the sun.
Not a natural born fighter by any means, he tends to avoid combat if possible. Often he'll plant witty traps when forced into dangerous situations.
As with most Jie, Arken refuses to travel into 'dark zones,' and always warns his master such. He has a fear bordering on phobia about losing his hooves or claws to a hunter's greedy hands.
