Much to my utter delighted surprise, this was used as the cover to the Anthrocon 2016 Pocket Guide!
It really made my weekend as I couldn't attend the con, so I'm sharing it with the rest of you.
Anthrocon 2016 had the theme of "Roaring 20s" (as it was their 20th year) so I took reference from the Art Deco movement of the 20s onwards, Bioshock Infinite (the feline is based on Elizabeth from the game, and I know, technically it's set in 1912) and quotes from newspaper articles of the time. Yes, Pittsburgh was a bit of a hotbed of crime and corruption, it seems, courtesy of the Pittsburgh Post!
(Inked with Micron Pigma fineliners, and colored with Letraset Tria and Prismacolor Premier markers. Art Deco style titles were added with Adobe Illustrator and finished off in Photoshop.)
