Before I went out to sea, I set several goals in regards to sketching - one of which was to sit down and attempt to bang out a sample comic. Just a proof of concept of a single page to get a feel for the work involved and to test it's feasibility. The Results of which are seen above.
Minimal effort went into editing each character (which was sketched individually, not interacting with each other) and then superimposing them in the required spaces via Photoshop.
Total Editing/Assembly Time: 2 hours ( Not a photoshop guru... >_>; )
Sketching time: 14-18 hours ( Aprox 2-3hr per character )
Result of this experiment: Meh. Not up to the quality I'd like, and the time required to get it going is painful. Probably not really possible at this time to attempt to do weekly. Back to the ol' sketchbook.
