Right, so this is bad, and its going in scraps. But, meh. i like uploading stuff lately. I wrote this during a really, depressed time of my life, when i just.. desperately needed that older male role model, that i never had growing up. So i created Louisiana, my older character Tennessee's older brother. To be that, male role model i needed. Needless to say, i kept him, and i'm gonna be commissioning a pic of him at some point soon probably.
ending was left vague of what i was depressed about, with the intent of being able to come back and insert myself no matter what my current situation was.
You can still give me some constructive criticism, but, it'd be more help on a different story truthfully.
Rook silently kicked his legs off the ledge above the hidden walkway in metal head. Looking towards the murky sky, lost in thought.
"Hey Rook" broke the silence, and gave the bunwolf a start. Looking down to place the voice to Louisiana. His red fur really stood out in the swampy green area.
"H! How did you find me!?" Rook panicked up at the sergal.
"Ive been around the block kid. When someone runs away, they either head where they like to relax; or where they dont expect to be found" Louisiana chuckled softly, sitting next to the bunwolf. "A quiet, open beast makers world fits both for you."
"But, why not treetops?"
"You hate heights way too much for that."
Rook lowered his head and sighed.
"So, you gonna tell me whats up?" Louisiana patted his friends back with a smile.
"Why should i?" Rook tensed up at the touch; pretending he didn't secretly want it.
"Because helping is what big brothers do."
"But you're not my brother" Rook frowned. "Were not even related" the bunwolf finished.
Louisiana smiled and shrugged. "No, but you're my little brother regardless."
Rook perked up softly, forcing a tiny smile. "Thanks."
"So, tell me whats up Rook. And, don't worry. Secrets safe with me."
Rook sighed, looking up at the towering sergal, just in time to catch his toothy smile. "You wont tell anyone im here?"
"Not till you're ready to come home."
