"Generation 1 heads were made with a styrofoam muzzle glued onto a hood. This method sucked. Carving the foam blocks was a bitch, made a mess, you couldn't breathe at all or anything. Also it was too front heavy and bulky. Furring it didn't go well and the eyes weren't very well planned out nor secured. Patterns were made for most everything by using large sheets of tracing paper, but that didn't prevail in a symetrical look in the end :("
