Kareth Shanjhet hails from the "Green Pearl" also known as Shivalet (She-Vahl-et), home of the tall, six armed, slender and elegant Shivali. While the planet itself is known for its lush jade forests, wild and exotic jungles and mountains, it's people are known far across the galaxy for their artistic craft. From the sensual dancers. their captivating paintings and mesmerizing musicians. they are long sought after by the richest people and organizations across the galaxy for their talents, but Shivali sees these talents not the same as other races. They see them as Sheilua.

In rough translation Sheilua means 'master art' and in Shivali culture everyone has a skill in Sheilua. Be it at cooking, dance, art, housekeeping, or even flying a freighter is all seen a Sheilua. Because to a Shivali there is a great difference between flying a ship and avoiding asteroids in a field, compared making the ship dance through the asteroid field.

As for Kareth, with a mother as a dancer and her father a ship mechanic, Kareth finds it hard to find her Sheilua. While the call of the dance beckons to her, she yearn's to fly into the void and dance across the stars but no Shivali can be a master at two Sheilua's
