This was extremely hard trying to decide on a new style for Holly, especially since ALL the entries were so nice!
Just to let people know, I did NOT judge this contest based on how well the drawing was. I know not everyone is at the same art level, and to judge it based on artistic level wouldn't really be fair to the artists who wanted to join but weren't at a certain level yet. I wanted everyone to have a chance ;)
I judged by how the style looks on Holly, if it fit her personality, and if it was easy to draw. I spent a good day (Sunday) drawing many of the styles that I liked, but it seemed that two styles were busy duking it out to be #1 ;) The tie-breaker to this, was when I inked the drawings, and that's when I absolutely knew which style I wanted Holly to have :)
So, without further ado! Here's the winners!
3rd place: Kalika! You win a conbadge and an icon commission!
2nd place: Mab! You win a 3 bookmarker set commission!
And 1st place winner is...
DARKLIGRESS!! (#19 of the contest entries)
Not only does Holly's hair style perminatly changes to your design, but you also get a 1-character partial background commission! =D
