Anthrocon 2016 - Epic Battle by Dark Natasha
In this picture 
DarkNatasha captures a moment in one of my Metamor Keep (http://metamorkeep.com/) stories when my character Charles faces Carcarak, a war wolf created by 
Hallan. Carcarak was once a fellow Keeper who has been chained by the God of Rage, Revonos. Charles is trying to pass through Revonos's realm, but Revonos is also trying to claim him as another pit fighter beast (hence the collar and chain). This culminates in a battle between Charles and Carcarak in the battle arena. Carcarak controls the powers of the winter storm, while Charles uses his affinity for stone to shape the earth to both attack and defend. Essentially, we have a battle-mad air bender and a desperate earth-bender facing each other for the amusement of the God of Rage. Note that Charles's tail was lopped in half at this point.

Wow! Thank you! I wish I could have made it to AC to see this made. I would have suggested a few changes: spiked collars and no pupils for Carcarak's glowing eyes, but other than that, wow!!

Sadly, I realized only after the fact that the previous picture which had Charles with his insignia was not in the sketchbook and so she didn't have the reference. I thought it was there and so didn't mention it as I should have. I would make those changes too. But no picture is ever 100% accurate to the story so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

This is the typical garb Dark usually draws for my character. I would so love to have some costuming garb done up in this style so I could really fursuit as my character! Ironically, he should have a cape on in this scene but I forgot that the reference was not in my sketchbook!

I've got a pretty detailed monthly budget myself. Of course, part of that includes saving up for larger expenses. This last month we installed new windows in our living room and that ran quite a bit more than we'd originally expected. That and we paid for the cabin we're renting for our family vacation next month. So yeah, a little more expensive than usual this month.
