Yellowstone Park. Summer 1977. Shot with a 110 Pocket Instamatic 'flip flash' camera probably with 100ASA speed film.
I scanned the print into Aperture and compensated for the loss of blue overtones due to the age of the photo. The size shows one of the bigger problems with such a tiny negative, the sharpness and grainy nature of the film doesn't hold up well in the electronic era. If I knew where the negative was (it's probably LONG gone) a modern scan probably would eke a little more detail but not much.
Kodak would ultimately outdo themselves in the tiny negative category with the 'Disk' cameras, where the film grain got even WORSE! That's not to say you can't get a great image from a tiny negative, Minox has been doing that for a while.

The 70's were an interesting era. Time has glossed over the warts and chasms quite a bit. From Watergate, terrorism, Vietnam, oil embargoes, American Indian wars, Soviet edginess, the shift away from supporting the middle class, American manufacturing decline, and Iranian hostages it had a prominent underbelly to be certain :)
My recollections of the 70's was there was an atmosphere of tension nearly everywhere. :)
