Sunburst was known as Flurry Heart's crystaler. Knowing the about the chaos that unfolded in the Crystal Empire, Robin went to seek out Sunburst and have a young chat with him. Turns out that Sunburst has a sense of admiration for someone who traveled the outrealms to come to Equestria. Robin asked to invite Sunburst to join his team so that Sunburst could seek out more knowledge.
