It seems that my Calaisians make more appearances when I'm bothered by something.
Honestly, having heard all the terrible things that have happened this week and about the tragedy in Dallas, I was pretty close to furious. It irritates me to no end that someone who doesn't personally know anyone they're making targets out of would go so far as to hurt them, let alone kill them. I know that police officers don't have a great track record, but honestly, not every single one of them is part of that problem, and murder isn't ever the solution.
It's infuriating watching this happen so often and become a constant, rather than a rare exception.
As a vent for these frustrations, I just quickly painted up a speedpaint of Killer Whale, or KW, making an escape from our planet for awhile. He has the ability to kill and destroy very easily, especially when enraged, so this is a good precaution for him, naturally, especially when us dumb humans are destroying ourselves and our home world when he doesn't even have one. I haven't drawn this guy in a long time, but I feel like I really need to. He's my rage-quit buddy, good for drawing angry teeth.
Argh, anyways, done with my grumping, I'll probably do more of these later. Back to commissions and the drawing board!

Gosh, with all the stuff going on, no wonder he wants to leave. We're slowly tearing ourselves apart it seems, and it's really sad to behold. :c I await the day eagerly once we can finally stop all this madness since it seems to be almost a daily event, and that to me is borderline pathetic. I will never understand the reasoning to go as far as to take another person's life.
Anyway, apart from all that, this drawing is awesome. Soooo many well-blending colors, and really impressive shading, plus the species is just cool in general. Great work! ovo/

It was a waste of human life...it was very sad situation and I am sending thoughts to the families that were affected by this. Also, the fact that they sent in a bomb-drone to take out the suspect that had himself holed up...it's a turn for the worse for America. Very sad, very scary. The world is changing...and I only wonder if we can get better from this or only continue to get worse...
