I remember when i first held a tarantula, they'd taught the lil guy to put his leg out to shake hands ;A; and so i shook hands with a tarantula..aaand then i held 5 snakes because i love snakes <3 BUT I will admit the tarantula was actually kinda cute...NO ONE HEARD ME SAY THAT?!
I love how fuzzy they are! Makes them look far less menacing. And like I was telling Vawkis it seams like the meatier they are the more like they look like animals and less like spindly spiders.
And OMG I love snakes! Especially ball pythons with their cute lil puppy faces! I had one when I was a little kid. His name was Bubbles cus the first time I saw him, he had his nose under the water of his water dish and he was blowing out bubbles. XD

I'll never figure how anyone can like spiders...then again, I've a small fear of them thanks to an incident as a black widow as a cub. Behind glass, or in a cage, I'm okay with em...outside of that? You wanna hear a grown male shriek, put one on me, or try to put it in my face
I'm actually scared shitless of spiders. For no other reason than they just freak me the feck out. But that's exactly why I've always wanted a tarantula. I figure I could combat my fear or at least appreciate them better. IMO the bigger the better. It's the little tiny ones with the long spindly legs that creep me out. Something as meaty as a tarantula seams more like an animal than a spider.
