Hey guys, we got another one for the week. :D
Now for the well known sideshow carni we all know. The Bearded Lady!
CLE Sideshow Bearded Lady:
Wrapper: N/A
Binder: N/A
Filler: N/A
Pre-Light/Construction:
A pretty standard maduro like wrapper that's blacker than sin is finished off with a bit of shag at the foot. Oh, there's the beard! A bit rough from the wrapper itself, like it just got out of the hole from a hellish prison. both visible veins and seems were present but the overall presence was strong yet sinister. Tough it makes me wonder if the Bearded Lady herself had a heart of gold irl back then.
The Burn Part 1:
From the first few puffs of the shaggy foot, which was the beard, had some pep and zest to the beginning until the wrapper hit which was very calm with a bit of oak and floral notes. The draws were very vibrant and full of flavor. Going off to a great start. The pepper notes were still a bit vibrant from the shaggy foot going into the wrapper itself. Still a great and calm start.
The Burn Part 2:
Along the flow of smoke the oak becomes a little more cedary and the floral blends a mix of earthy notes. The pepper surprisingly had stayed the same. The body was slowly building up, but not too much. More of a warm and good gripped handshake like greeting a fellow businessman. Still going very easy at this point.
The Burn Final:
At this point the blend is in full sync and has remained the same in both notes and body. With the last few puffs, I gave this one a proper burial in the ashtray.
Verdict:
From the entire line up with the sideshow sticks, this one was a very easy easy going one in both flavor and body.
This to me was a bit of an saving grace and more of a relaxing take on the harsh sticks. Definitely worth the smoke.
