their lives do matter....but the issue still stands, someone died
To protect and serve
that is the police motto
a man was killed recently...whether he was innocent and this was an act of racist cops or he was truly dangerous remains to be seen
the fact of the matter is that the two officers that responded still killed a man...was lethal force authorized? Were shots truly fired? Was the suspect actually posing a dangerous threat? We don't know
"Life is precious"
Shame one's life had to end this way

"To protect and serve"...the status quo which is currently being demonstrated by the R"s or as I call them ENEMY. I could go into this more but my experience has shown that many really do not want to listen or care as they feel that it is not their problem, but as we just saw, it can become their problem very quickly and tragically.
Agree.
Have posted somewhere else the following.
"And, personally it seems to be more a matter of either:
Respect human life, in which case - all lives matter.
And, obviously with that, it is a matter of assisting those lives that need assisting/support/help in proportion to the help/assistance that is needed.
Or take a nihilist view on life, in which care - no lives matter.
And with that, well, it is a nihilist view on life, so nothing has any intrinsic value or meaning."
Unfortunately it seems that PC culture has gone so far as to see comments such as 'all lives matter' to be racist. Even though there is ample evidence to demonstrate that it isn't a race based issue, and that it is a lot more complicated than that.
Anyway, agree with what you have said and created here.
