Making Snowcache was so inspiring, I immediately visited the local quilt store to look for a background fabric for another in the series. A batik featured bears that looked like mountains, or was it mountains that looked like bears?

I made another hanging, with a different hiding place for a tiny fake geocache, and more appliqued animals, bear and elk and cougar, positioning trees and animals over part of the most bear-like aspects of the background. An abalone button serves as a luminous moon, and the other beaded black ribbon makes a nice border.
