I love this! I always try to stretch vacations out as long as possible, and as for fursuiting, well, suffice it to say that I didn't go to Fur Squared (the local furry convention, to those in southeastern Wisconsin), even though I probably could have since it began, just because I wasn't finished making my fursuit! So once I do finish that suit and go to a convention, this will almost certainly be me.

Oh--is this based on your own habits?

Nah, I don't usually suit on the last day. I usually do so much suiting by the last day I'm just too tired.

Ah, I see. Well, who knows? I've never worn a fursuit yet (except wearing parts of mine long enough to try them on), so maybe this won't be me after all. But I'm inclined to think it will.

So far, I worn my fursuit without the head (because the head isn't finished--I can see why many fursuit makers do the heads first) for about half an hour at max, I think. I don't remember ever overheating, even in a comfortably warm room with 75-watt incandescent lights overhead (that's my sewing area).
