explanation on what this thing does?

As far as I've come up with so far, it hides in a disguised state until someone comes along and stumbles into it, then it flows over their bodies, restrains them, and moves them to a more 'private' place where they can be toyed with in peace. There, it allows the hapless victim to struggle themselves to exhaustion, all the while quietly draining away excess energy. Next their clothing is broken down and destroyed, and the glob covers the victim's posterior in a sort of pseudo 'diaper,' made possible by the wide variety of colors and consistencies it can morph its body to replicate. From there it begins leaving them in increasingly degrading situations, all while feeding off the subject's emotional distress. This can take the form of a single, small floomph glob that can only form a degrading set of clothing to make them wear, all the way up to small lakes of the stuff that require multiple victims at once to maintain themselves.

Beyond that, I dunno. It may be developed later, or it might just get left behind x3
