really did seem to like my Mouse Diary stories, I
project I did several years ago, trying to tell the very beginnings of
my frusona Chris' backstory. Originally human, Chris was transformed
into a mouse-morph via a retro-virus, for reasons still unknown.
Neko-Daewen designed this pair of trading cards to go with
The Mouse Diaries Part I and II. God, even now, the emotion in these
nearly takes my breath away.

The left hand one depicts Chris in the hospital, having to learn all
over again how his body works. He's just seen his new face in the
hand mirror, and is feeling more lonely and depressed than ever.
The right hand one, shows Chris out of the hospital, walking down
the street. Out of sight, and unaware to the mouse, David is silently
watching over him, caring very deeply about Chris, but unable to
physically show himself to the mouse
